PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — Tyler Jones, 32, of the 100 block of Bethlehem Pike, was cited for public drunkenness May 20, after officers responded to a call and found him intoxicated in Knight Park, police said. He was taken to the station and turned over to a relative, police said.

DUI — Steven J. Knapstein, 46, of Fort Hill Circle, Fort Washington, was charged with driving under the influence, after he was stopped May 31 for driving without lights, police said. Knapstein showed signs of intoxication and failed two field sobriety tests, and was transported to Upper Dublin police to be processed, police said.

THEFT — A Samsung Galaxy 7 cellphone was stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Daniels Road overnight June 8, police said. All the items from the center console had been thrown about and the cellphone was missing, police said.

THEFT — A resident in the 400 block of Tennis Avenue reported June 9 that he went to his vehicle and found two men, one ducking down on the side and the other exiting from the driver’s side door, who ran when they saw him, police said. The victim’s belongings had been rummaged through, but nothing was missing, police said.

Springfield

ASSAULT — Alexander Fedyna, 23, of the 400 block of Atwood Road, Erdenheim, was charged with strangulation, aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment June 12, after officers responded to a call of a domestic incident at 11:17 p.m. involving his son, police said. The victim did not require treatment, police said. Fedyna was arraigned and taken to Montgomery County Prison on $50,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 26.

BIKE THEFT — An unlocked, silver, 26-inch Trek mountain bike with orange lettering was stolen overnight June 12 from the front of a home in the 100 block of North College Avenue, Flourtown, police said. Surveillance video shows a black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, jeans, and white and black sneakers take the bike and also check some car doors on the unit block of North College, police said.

Upper Dublin

BIKE THEFT — A black Huffy Nel Lusso 26-inch cruiser bike with orange sidewall tires, valued at $160, and an orange cable bike lock, valued at $10, were stolen from the 500 block of Ardross Avenue between 1:45 and 3:05 p.m. June 14, police said.

DAMAGE — A resident of the 100 block of Bethlehem Pike reported at 4:58 p.m. June 16 that someone came into the driveway of the home and clipped about 20 flowers from a flower bed, police said.

Whitpain

WARRANT — Tara Stewart, 56, of the 3700 block of Avalon Street, Philadelphia, was taken into custody on an Atlantic County Sheriff’s warrant for fraud, following a traffic stop at 8:30 a.m. June 11 at Skippack Pike and Symphony Lane, police said. She was taken to Montgomery County Prison to await pickup from Atlantic County.

RETAIL THEFT — Orlando Rodriguez, 31, and Henry Lopez, 37, of unknown addresses, were charged with retail theft at 8 p.m. June 13, after stealing several pairs of sneakers from Kohl’s, 1300 Skippack Pike, police said. The two were arraigned and transported to Montgomery County Prison, police said.
