VANDALISM — Vandalism charges are pending against a male juvenile of the 100 block of North Street after police responded March 29 to a call of a juvenile damaging property at Ricciardi Park, police said. Two trees were found spray-painted and the juvenile, described by witnesses, was found at Ambler Park, police said.

THEFT — Items were stolen overnight April 7 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of East Park Avenue, police said.

VANDALISM — A vehicle parked in the unit block of Orange Avenue was reported vandalized April 8 by someone putting something in the gas tank, police said.

FRAUD — A resident reported April 12 being scammed out of $790 by a person claiming to be a PECO employee who threatened to disconnect the victim’s electric service, police said. The victim purchased two money packs for $395 and gave the caller the numbers, at which point the caller wanted more money and the victim realized it was a scam, police said.

THEFT — A purple Huffy with black details and a bright orange and black seat was reported stolen April 18 from the front porch of a home in the 100 block of Park Avenue, police said.

THEFT — Borough officials reported April 25 that a parking meter in the unit block of East Butler Avenue that was removed for repairs is missing, police said.


PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — Laura Hinton, 36, of the 8600 block of Fayette Street, Philadelphia, will be cited for public drunkenness after officers responded to a call of a verbal domestic at 8:30 p.m. May 6 at Mermaid Lane and Elm Avenue and found Hinton, apparently intoxicated, lying in the grass at Mermaid Park, police said. She was transported to Chestnut Hill Hospital for a possible alcohol overdose, police said.

ASSAULT — Samuel Stroup, 35, of the 800 block of Ayrdale Road, Philadelphia, was charged with simple assault May 7, after officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at 3:07 p.m. in the 9200 block of Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, where he allegedly punched the other driver in the face, police said.

DAMAGE — The rear window of a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Morgan Drive was found shattered at 11 p.m. May 11, police said.

BURGLARY — A home in the 1600 block of Norristown Road was found burglarized at 10:33 p.m. May 10, police said. The rear door was forced to gain entry, police said.

BURGLARY — A home in the 300 block of Gentry Lane was burglarized between 5:30 p.m. May 10 and 12:15 a.m. May 11, police said. The rear door was forced to gain entry, police said.


PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — Emery Martinez, 18, of the 100 block of Deerpath Lane, Lansdale, was cited for public drunkenness May 5 when he was found lying on the side of the road at 2:54 a.m. at DeKalb Pike and Swede Road, police said.

WARRANT — Robert Bannon, 37, of the 1500 block of Daws Road, was taken into custody on a Bucks County warrant at 2:45 a.m. May 9, after officers responded to a call of a medical emergency in the 1700 block of Swede Road, police said. Bannon, who was found walking on Lafayette Way, was taken to Montgomery County Prison to await arrival of Bucks County sheriffs, police said.

THEFT — A phone charger and jumper cables were reported stolen at 1:07 p.m. May 9 from a vehicle broken into at Montgomery County Community College, police said.
