BURGLARY — A home in the 700 block of Meadowcreek Circle may have been burglarized Sept. 3, police said. The victim was walking her dog around 6:30 p.m. when she found one of her fur coats, which she did not realize was missing, in the neighbor’s bushes, police said. When she returned home, she discovered a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort headphones, valued at $400, that had been on a shelf in the closet where the coat was kept were missing, police said.

BURGLARY — A home in the 1400 block of Sloan Way was found burglarized at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 4, police said. Entry was made through a rear dining room window, where the screen had been removed and the window forced, police said. Items taken included $100 cash, $8,500 worth of jewelry, a $100 bottle of perfume, an Apple iPhone valued at $250, and a Dell computer laptop and charging cable valued at $1,100, police said.


ASSAULT — A 17-year-old Philadelphia male was charged with simple assault and harassment Sept. 2 after he smacked an employee across the face at 3 p.m.at the McDonald’s restaurant, 1890 Bethlehem Pike, police said. The youth was stopped at the nearby Acme, charged and released to a parent, police said.

THEFT — Christine Berson, 43, of the 7900 block of Langeon Street, Philadelphia, an employee at Keystone Hospice House, 8765 Stenton Ave., Wyndmoor, was charged at 5:32 p.m. Sept. 4 with obtaining a controlled substance by deception, possession of a controlled substance, theft and receiving stolen property after she stole a fentanyl patch from a patient’s leg, police said.

THEFT — A 26-inch, 12-speed, green and black mountain bike that was locked was stolen from the lot at the Penn Weldy Apartments, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., Oreland, between Sept. 3 and 4, police said.

WARRANTS — Jaquan Harris, 24, of the 4400 block of Teesdale Street, Philadelphia, turned himself in at 11:08 p.m. Sept. 4 on three warrants, one each from Philadelphia, New Jersey and Abington, and was turned over to Abington police, police said.

ASSAULT — A teacher at Carson Valley Children’s Aid was assaulted by four female juveniles at the school at 8:10 p.m. Sept. 5, police said. The victim suffered visible abrasions on her shoulder and hips and scratches on her forearms, police said. The four, two 13 and two 14, were charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment and released back to the school, police said.

THEFT — A gym bag containing prescription goggles, flip flops, and a bathing suit, valued at about $200, and a small amount of currency were stolen overnight Sept. 6 from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 900 block of Pleasant Avenue, Wyndmoor, police said.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — Isaiah Ellis, 22, of the 8600 block of Provident Street, Philadelphia, is being cited for public drunkenness after officers responded to a call at 6:01 a.m. Sept. 8 of a male sitting in the front seat of a resident’s vehicle in the 7700 block of East Lane, police said. Ellis, who was walking away when police were called, was found intoxicated on Campbell Lane by Flourtown Avenue and taken home, police said.
