INDECENT EXPOSURE — Christian Aristizabal, 22, of the 400 block of Washington Avenue, North Wales, was charged Dec. 17 with indecent exposure, unlawful conduct with a minor, open lewdness and disorderly conduct, after four female juveniles reported at 4:15 p.m. Dec. 13 that a white male in his 20s, wearing glasses, black sweatpants and a blue and green striped sweater was following them and exposed himself to them in the 900 block of Willow Grove Avenue, police said. After reviewing surveillance photos and posting on social media, police received a tip and Aristizabal was identified as a suspect, and a search warrant was served at his residence, police said. He was arraigned and taken to Montgomery County Prison on bail set at $50,000 cash, police said.

ASSAULT — A 17-year-old male student at Carson Valley Children’s Aid was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct, after a staff member reported at 2:18 p.m. Dec. 16 he was struck several times in the face and eye when he attempted to stop a fight between some of the students, police said. The youth was taken to the Montgomery County Youth Center to await adjudication.

Another 17-year-old male student was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct following a disturbance at 6:11 p.m. Dec. 16 at Carson Valley when the student allegedly pushed an employee against the wall with his forearm, causing a bruise to the rear of the staff member’s head, police said.

THEFT — A package containing a $900 purse was reported stolen Dec. 17 from outside a home in the 9700 block of Hartwell Lane, Wyndmoor, police said. The package was delivered Dec. 10 according to tracking information, police said.

BURGLARY — A 14-year-old male student at Carson Valley Children’s Aid was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief after officers responded at 9:19 p.m. Dec. 22 to the unit block of West Wissahickon Avenue for a report of someone inside a detached garage, police said. The resident heard glass breaking prior to officers’ arrival, and in a search of the area, the juvenile was found hiding by a tree and taken into custody, police said. He was taken to the Montgomery County Youth Center for adjudication.

ASSAULT — Anthony Silverman, 32, of the 900 block of Pleasant Avenue, was charged with simple assault, theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct following a domestic incident at his home at 1:48 a.m. Dec. 22, police said. Silverman allegedly head-butted his wife, who had a visible injury on her forehead, and took her iPhone and a set of keys, police said.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — Christopher Salvitti, 36, of the 200 block of Aldrin Drive, Ambler, was cited for public drunkenness Dec. 22 after he was found unconscious at 3:17 a.m. in front of Halligan’s Pub in the 1600 block of Bethlehem Pike, police said.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS — John Luna-Pilar, 24, of the 400 block of North Hills Avenue, Glenside, was cited for public drunkenness and criminal mischief after police responded to a report at 12:17 a.m. Dec. 23 of a shirtless male standing on top car in 200 block of West Wissahickon Avenue, Flourtown, police said. Luna-Pilar, who was obviously under the influence of alcohol, damaged the hood and windshield wiper of the vehicle, police said.


RETAIL THEFT — Morgan Palermo, 27, of the 1000 block of Kinglet Drive, Norristown, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property at 6:20 p.m. Dec. 20, after taking $785 worth of jewelry and apparel at Kohl’s in the 1300 block of Skippack Pike, police said.

RETAIL THEFT — Zachary Thomas, 33, of the1800 block of Allen Circle, Jamison, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property at 7:04 p.m. Dec. 21, after taking $162 worth of sneakers, jewelry and clothing from Kohl’s in the 1300 block of Skippack Pike, police said.

WARRANT — Devin Mullins, 26, of West 5th Street, Bridgeport, was taken into custody on a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department warrant for a probation violation, following a traffic stop at 11:18 p.m. Dec. 23 at Skippack Pike and Parkwood Road, police said. He was transported to the station and later released to the Sheriff’s Department, police said.
