Opportunities
• Family Services’ Meals on Wheels program is in need of volunteers to deliver meals in the Royersford and Lower Perkiomen Valley areas.
Each weekday, Royersford Meals on Wheels volunteers meet at Gethsemane Tabernacle of Hope Church (425 Walnut Street, Royersford) at 10:40 a.m. to pick up the meals for delivery.
Lower Perk volunteers meet at Perkiomen Valley Brethren in Christ Church (46 Trappe Road, Collegeville) at 11:15 a.m. to pick up the meals for delivery.
All meal delivery routes take approximately one hour to complete. Most volunteers commit to delivering meals once a week, while others volunteer on a substitute basis. Training is provided.
