Ambler

Arrest on warrants … Curtis Walton, 47, of the unit block of Orange Avenue, was arrested Oct. 29 on four outstanding traffic warrants, police said. Walton was brought before District Judge Patricia Zaffarano, police said.

Active warrant … Anthony Lamont Sproul, 32, whose last known address was in Philadelphia, was taken into custody Oct. 29 for an active warrant from Mercy County for failure to comply with a court order, police said. Sproul was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility at the request of Mercer County, police said.

Theft … Ann Marie Pierce, 20, of the 100 block of Second Street, Bridgeport, was arrested and charged with theft Oct. 29 after an investigation into a report of money stolen from a Butler Avenue business in August, police said. Pierce was arraigned before District Judge Patricia Zaffarano, police said.

Vandalism … The rear windshield of a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Hendricks Street was broken Oct. 30, police said.

False ID … Charles Johnson, 25, of the 200 block of North Main Street, turned himself in Nov. 2 on charges of false identification to law enforcement officers from a September investigation, police said. Johnson was arraigned before District Judge Patricia Zaffarano, police said.

Theft … A red Flyer wagon was taken Nov. 2 when a resident left it on Hendricks Street before entering Ricciardi Park, police said.

Upper Dublin

Thefts … A wallet containing $40 cash, credit cards, identification and Social Security card was stolen from a locker at L.A. Fitness, 1175 Virginia Drive, Oct. 30, police said. The thief removed the lock from the locker, police said.

A Jenkintown man reported the same day that his locker was entered and his wallet containing $40 to $50, identification, credit cards and insurance cards was taken, police said.

ID theft … A Dresher woman reported an unknown person opened a credit card at Best Buy in North Wales in her name Oct. 28 and charged $2,000 to it, police said. A similar attempt to open a credit card at Target in North Wales was denied Oct. 29, police said.

Assault … A North Hills man was assaulted between 7 and 8 p.m. Oct. 28 outside his residence in the 3100 block of Walnut Avenue, police said. The victim said he was jumped by three men in an apparent racially-motivated incident, police said. One of the assailants, described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches, age 20, 200 pounds, with short hair and a tattoo on his forearm, wearing a New York Giants jersey, knocked him to the ground, where the other two, described as age 16 or 17, kicked him several times in his back, police said. The victim was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital by a relative for treatment of his injuries, police said.

DUI … Charges of driving under the influence are pending against Amin Bowman, 36, of the unit block of West Logan Street, Philadelphia, following a traffic stop at 4:12 p.m. Oct. 30 at Susquehanna Road and Peg Street, police said. Responding to a call of a reckless driver, officers observed Bowman’s vehicle eastbound on Highland Avenue and followed as he turned north on Camp Hill and crossed the double yellow lines to pass another vehicle at a high rate of speed, police said. Bowman continued to speed eastbound on Susquehanna and changed lanes without a signal and was pulled over, police said. Bowman showed signs of intoxication and failed field tests and was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for a blood test, police said. Charges are pending the test results, police said.

DUI … Charges of driving under the influence are pending against Audrey Krenzel, 56, of the 3200 block of Lenape Drive, Dresher, following a two-vehicle accident at 6:06 p.m. Oct. 27 at Susquehanna and Fitzwatertown roads, police said. Krenzel was eastbound on Susquehanna when the vehicle ahead stopped for a red light at Fitzwatertown and she struck the rear of the other vehicle, police said. Krenzel showed signs of intoxication and was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital for a blood test and charges are pending the results, police said.

ID theft … A Dresher man reported Oct. 27 that an unknown person had used his personal information to charge $73 to Home Depot, attempt to open an account at Target, and attempt to use his existing Macy’s account, police said.

DUI … Steiman Desouvre, 36, of the 2800 block of Rossiter Avenue, Roslyn, was charged with driving under the influence following a one-vehicle accident Oct. 30, police said. An officer came across a vehicle smoking in the middle of Fitzwatertown Road with a torn right front tire and smashed front end at 3:25 a.m., police said. As the officer approached, a vehicle pulled up and Desouvre got out of the passenger side and identified the vehicle as his, police said. Desouvre could not recall how the accident happened and showed signs of intoxication and he was transported to the station for a chemical breath test, which measured a 0.116 percent BAC, police said.

Theft … A state safety inspection sticker and emission sticker were reported missing Oct. 27 from Mercedes-Benz of Fort Washington, 1401 Dreshertown Road, police said. The stickers were believed taken Sept. 1 and have been entered into NCIC, police said.

ID theft … A Fort Washington resident reported being notified Oct. 21 that someone attempted to use the victim’s name and Social Security number to make several purchases over the phone from Dell, police said. Talbots called the victim Oct. 27 to report that someone had used the victim’s name, address, Social Security number, date of birth and telephone number to make an online purchase from Talbots, police said.

ID theft … A resident reported Oct. 27 that unauthorized charges had been made Oct. 14 on the victim’s Lowe’s account for $3,000, Home Depot for $4,984 and Nordstrom’s online for $1,900, police said.

Hit and run … A 2004 Toyota 4Runner parked at Prudential, Welsh and Blair Mill roads, was hit by a hit-and-run driver between 7 a.m. and noon Oct. 27, police said. The rear driver’s side fender was damaged and there appeared to be white transfer paint on the vehicle, police said.

Theft … A resident of the 1700 block of Devonshire Road, Dresher, reported Oct. 26 that a gold and silver Rolex watch with gold face and Roman numerals, valued at $5,500, was stolen from the home, police said. Delivery people had been in the home that morning and detectives were continuing an investigation, police said.

ID theft … A Dresher Hill Nursing Home resident reported that on Oct. 20 someone attempted to cash at least five fraudulent checks from an old checkbook belonging to the victim at First National Bank, police said.

Assault … Yosif Govedarov, 18, a student at Upper Dublin High School, was arrested Oct. 2 and charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly assaulting another student at the school on two different occasions, police said. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Dec. 27, police said.

Assault … Two 16-year-old male residents at St. Mary’s Villa were arrested Oct. 22 on assault charges following an altercation at which they allegedly assaulted staff members, police said. Officers responded to a report of a large fight and helped break up a large crowd of students, police said.

Lower Gwynedd

Criminal mischief … Mailboxes at three residences in the Gwynedd Knoll development were vandalized during the evening of Oct. 30, police said. The residences were on the 1200 block of Laura Lane, the 1300 block of Tanglewood Drive and the 1200 block of Turnbury Lane, all in Gwynedd, police said. Several properties and vehicles in the development were also covered with toilet paper, police said.

Theft … A gas grill and a generator were taken from the backyard of a residence on the 900 block of Llanfair Road, Ambler, between Oct. 28 and 31, police said.

Vandalism … A lamppost at the Evans Road driveway to Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, 1345 Sumneytown Pike, Gwynedd, was broken overnight Oct. 31, police said. Several empty beer cans were found on the ground near the lamppost, police said.

Whitpain

Underage drinking … Samantha Rooney, 20, of the 1100 block of Archer Lane, Lansdale, and Ashley Braccia, 18, of the 700 block of Keith Lane, Lansdale, were cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct Oct. 29, police said. At 12:18 a.m. an officer noticed a vehicle in the Route 202 parking lot of Montgomery County Community College occupied by Rooney and Braccia, and while speaking with them, officers observed a partially smoked marijuana cigarette and rum in the vehicle, police said.

Disorderly conduct … A 16-year-old Blue Bell male was arrested for disorderly conduct and two other 16-year-old males and two 16-year-old females, all Blue Bell residents, were given warnings for curfew violations and released to their parents following an incident Nov. 1, police said. At 12:36 a.m. officers responded to the 1100 block of Oak Ridge Drive for a residential alarm and locate a parked vehicle, occupied by five juveniles, police said. When the officer approached, the driver, who was subsequently cited, leaned over and attempted to hide something, police said. The officer saw a small baggie of marijuana and a pipe was found under the front passenger’s seat, police said.

Disorderly conduct … Christopher Pollock, 18, of the 1800 block of Meadow Drive, was cited for disorderly conduct following an investigation at 12:10 a.m. Oct. 3, police said. An officer on patrol observed Pollock’s vehicle parked in the 800 block of Valley Road and while speaking with Pollock observed a marijuana cigarette on the floor of the car, police said. A small amount of suspected marijuana was also found in Pollock’s jacket, police said.

Thefts … Thirteen vehicles were entered in the early morning hours of Oct. 27 and items including a GPS, an iPod, prescription medication, a handicapped placard and change were taken, police said. All the cars were parked, unlocked, along Ivy Road, Meade Road and Whitpain Drive, police said.
