Visit the gardens of Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion for lawn games (croquet, ring toss, scavenger hunt), photography, good conversation, 19th century kitchen gadgets. Suggested attire -not required - summer whites, garden party frocks, tea dresses, steampunk, Goth. Photographs to take home.
There is a Victorian hat contest – a 19th century hat or make your own (fancy or paper plate hats).
Craft beer from Germantown’s own Attic Brewing Company and lots of refreshments will be available.
Admission is free. Pay as you go for activities and food. The Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion is at 200 West Tulpehocken Street in Philadelphia, Saturday, May 18, from Noon – 3 p.m.
