HARASSMENT — Stephen Swift, 35, of Old York Road, Abington, was cited for harassment and public drunkenness following an incident at 8:23 p.m. June 24 in the 1700 block of Old York Road, police said.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Gloria Harpel, 32, of Franklin Avenue, Willow Grove, was cited for disorderly conduct at 5:59 a.m. July 24 at Easton Road and Hamilton Avenue, police said.
VANDALISM — The side of a van parked at Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, was sprayed with graffiti between 9:20 and 9:50 a.m. Aug. 19, police said.
FRAUD — A resident reported Aug. 19 unauthorized ATM withdrawals had been made from the victim’s account, police said.
FALSE ID — Marquis Fabii, 18, of the 7500 block of Mayland Street, Philadelphia, was charged at 2:08 p.m. Aug. 19 with false identification to police, escape, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct, after he refused to leave the Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, when asked by management, and attempted to flee police during the investigation, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — Mona Ibrahim, 26, of the 1300 block of Kerper Street, Philadelphia; and Ammar Alatwani, 29, of the 400 block of East Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, were charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, after taking $609.45 in goods at 5:14 p.m. Aug. 19 at Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, police said.
THEFT — Robert Franklin, 68, of the 3100 block of North Croskey Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft after taking $157.53 in goods from Shop Rite, 2471 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 9:08 p.m. Aug. 19, police said.
RETAIL THEFT —Snipes Sneakers, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., reported at 4:13 p.m. Aug. 20 that two black males wearing white T-shirts and black running pants took $2,950 worth of store merchandise in a prior retail theft, police said.
BIKE STOLEN — A bicycle was reported stolen at 8:46 p.m. Aug. 20 from the front of the Towers at Wyncote apartments in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — James Gilmer, 59, of the 7500 block of Thouron Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft after taking $269 worth of goods from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 21, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — Nathaniel Jenkins, 54, of the 1800 block of West Atlantic Avenue, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft after taking $299.80 worth of goods at 2:11 p.m. Aug. 21 from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, police said.
FRAUD _ A resident reported Aug. 21 being defrauded out of $400 by someone posing over the phone as a PECO employee, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — Two females stole $100 worth of merchandise from Madrag, 3001 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 21 and left the store in a gold Chevy, police said.
LOITERING/PROWLING — Glen Hoggard, 43, of the 5900 block of Carpenter Street, Philadelphia, was charged with loitering and prowling at night, criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, and harassment, after he was found in the unit block of Breyer Court near a home at which someone had been throwing rocks at 8:13 p.m. Aug. 21, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — A black female, late 20s to early 30s, with a light complexion, wearing black pants and a jean jacket, stole a bottle of red wine at 1:57 p.m. Aug. 22 from Fine Wine & Good Spirits, 123 S. Easton Road, police said.
VANDALISM — The rear and side passenger windows of a vehicle were found broken out at 5:02 p.m. Aug. 22 in the 2000 block of North John Russell Circle, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — A black male, around age 30, wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants, took $500 worth of merchandise at 4:33 p.m. Aug. 22 from CVS, 45 Cheltenham Ave., and left through a side security door carrying a large black duffle bag, police said.
STOLEN PLATE — A PA registration plate, KBN3752, was stolen from a vehicle at Hairtown, 2401 W. Cheltenham Ave., Wyncote, between 8 a.m. Aug. 21 and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23, police said.
THEFT — A male stole a large amount of Tide detergent at 7:51 p.m. Aug. 23 from Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.
RETAIL THEFT — Valdis Mathis, 30, of the 4700 block of Loring Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft after taking $199 worth of goods from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, at 11:21 a.m. Aug. 24, police said.
THEFT — A black male in his 40s, with one arm, last seen driving from the area of Clearkin Inc., 108 Franklin Ave., stole an unknown amount of metal from the location at 2:28 p.m. Aug. 24, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — Herbert Alexander, 58, of the 6200 block of North 10th Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft after taking $133.56 in goods from Walmart, 1000 S. Easton Road, at 3:10 p.m. Aug. 24, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — Two people stole about $500 worth of soap and body wash from CVS, 45 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 7:58 p.m. Aug. 24 and fled in a gray sedan westbound on Cheltenham, police said.
RETAIL THEFT — A group of males took a box containing multiple bags of Skittles from 7-Eleven, 250 S. Easton Road, at 2:23 a.m. Aug. 25 and fled on foot, police said.
ROBBERY — A resident of the 7400 block of Richards Road reported at 4:32 a.m. Aug. 25 being assaulted and robbed of a purse containing $600 by a male wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants who was hiding in the bushes, police said.
VANDALISM — A light post was ripped out of the ground at a home in the 200 block of Bickley Road overnight Aug. 24 and was found in the creek, police said. In the 200 block of East Glenside Avenue, two low voltage walkway lights were pulled from the ground overnight, police said.
ASSAULT — Alex Thompson, 24, of the 2900 block of Madison Avenue, Roslyn, was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, possession of weapons of crime and reckless endangerment, for allegedly beating and pistol-whipping an ex-girlfriend while she was holding a child at 9:34 p.m. July 21 in the 7400 block of New Second Street, police said.
WARRANT — Michael B. Vann, 55, of the 1500 block of North Allison Street, Philadelphia, was taken into custody in the 400 block of York Road on a Philadelphia police warrant at 9:32 a.m. Aug. 17 and transported to Montgomery County Prison, police said.
CHARGES PENDING — Charges of driving under the influence are pending against Ash-Shakoor Williams, 34, of the 8000 block of Rogers Road, Elkins Park, after an officer observed a vehicle stopped on Township Line Road with a male passed out at the wheel at 4:46 a.m. Aug. 19, police said. He was transported to Holy Redeemer Hospital for a blood test and charges are pending the results, police said.
THEFT — Keith D. Moore, 56, of the 6000 block of North 21st Street, Philadelphia, was charged at 7:19 p.m. Aug. 20 with theft from a business in the 600 block of York Road, police said. He was taken to Montgomery Count Prison, police said.
BANK FRAUD — A resident reported Aug. 24 that her email and bank accounts had been compromised, police said. An $11,000 deposit was transferred to an unauthorized amount, police said. An investigation is continuing.
