LANSDALE — A local business looks like they could not rebound as well as they had hoped.
Rebounderz of Lansdale, the indoor trampoline center located at 616 E. Main Street, has closed its doors again.
"It was a great pleasure getting to individually meet most of you when we decided to tackle the reopening of Rebounderz Lansdale, but unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, we sadly have to close down once again," said a post on the Lansdale branch's website.
"We are terribly sorry for any inconveniences this may have brought to the Lansdale community and their families," it said.
The Lansdale Rebounderz first opened in 2015 in a building that had previously housed a Clemens supermarket since 1962, which was sold in 2006 and became a Super Fresh that closed in 2009. Rebounderz employed roughly 60 people from then until Jan. 21, when the company's owners closed the doors and indicated it was due to a contract dispute between the local franchise and corporate owners.
Roughly two weeks later, in early February, the Lansdale Rebounderz opened back up under new ownership, saying the prior owner of the Lansdale branch had contacted the owner of a Rebounderz located in Virginia and found a way to reopen.
As of April 23, the company's website once again lists the Lansdale location as "temporarily closed," and says those seeking refunds for deposits made for upcoming events or birthday parties can contact 1-(866) 833-5848.
Rebounderz corporate office and contact information listed for the Lansdale branch both have not responded to requests for comment.
