NORRISTOWN — Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds Jeanne Sorg announced she is partnering with JDog and Chickie’s and Pete’s in Audubon to host a Veterans’ Discount Identification Card event on Saturday, September 14.

“Our office likes to take our Veterans’ Discount Identification program on the road and is always looking for creative ways to partner with stakeholders and the community to serve veterans,” Sorg said. “When JDog approached us about this possibility, we were very excited.”

JDog Junk Removal is no stranger to helping those who have served. It is a veteran and military family owned company that makes it a priority to hire veterans. JDog also has a foundation that supports veterans and their families.

“This is a great fit and a natural partnership,” Sorg said.

Local businesses and veterans service organizations will be on hand at the even to talk with veterans.

The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in at the Audubon location: 675 Shannondell Boulevard, Audubon, PA 19403.

All veterans are welcome to attend. Montgomery County veterans interested in receiving their Discount Identification Card from the Recorder of Deeds should bring their DD214 (military discharge) and a photo identification (such as a driver’s license) to the event.
