WEST ROCKHILL — Within a day after A&T Chevrolet-Subaru sent out an email letting customers and employees know about the chance to contribute gifts for Grand View Health cancer patients and their families, people had signed up to provide almost all of the items on the gift list.
On Dec. 19, A&T brought the wrapped gifts to Grand View Health's Sellersville Outpatient Center for GVH social workers to distribute to a single male and two married couples, one with two daughters and one with two sons and a daughter.
"Managing the reality of a cancer diagnosis is difficult any day of the year, but it really hits home during the holidays," said Grand View Health Cancer Services Director Vickie Keeler. "These gifts are very much appreciated and truly make a difference for these families."
"This is the second year we've done this Holiday Cheer project," said A&T Chevrolet-Subaru President Jeff Allen. "It really just came out of a desire to help local families fighting cancer. Grand View Health has been terrific in helping us coordinate this and our customers have been incredible with their response."
