THEFT — Donald Conrad Strohm Jr., 33, no fixed abode, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and a related charge after officers responded to Sunoco-A-Plus in the 1500 block of Bethlehem Pike at 5:23 p.m. July 2 for a report of a vehicle theft, Hilltown Township Police Department said. The vehicle owner said he left his keys in his Nissan Altima while making a purchase inside the store, police said. Other customers saw the vehicle being stolen and notified the vehicle's owner, police said. Information on the stolen vehicle was broadcast to area police departments and Quakertown Borough Police and Pennsylvania State Police stopped the vehicle and took the driver into custody, police said. Strohm was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility after officers learned Bucks County Sheriff's Department had a warrant for him, police said. On July 3, Strohm was arraigned by video before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage, New Britain, and bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000, police said.
ASSAULT — Rebecca Nace, 45, of Sellersville, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic incident on July 7, Perkasie Borough Police Department said.
DRUGS — Anthony Mauceri, 23, of Sellersville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after being found under the influence at Lenape Park July 7, Perkasie Borough Police Department said. After being taken to the Perkasie police station, Mauceri was later transferred to Montgomery County Sheriff's Office for an active warrant, police said.
THEFT, RESISTING ARREST — Joshua Groff, 28, of Sellersville, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, simple assault, resisting arrest, retail theft and disorderly conduct after officers were called to a business on W. Walnut Street in Perkasie July 7 for a report of a person in a vehicle that did not belong to him, Perkasie Borough Police Department said. it was reported that Groff stole alcohol from the business and was found in a running vehicle, police said. The vehicle owner received injuries to his hand when he approached Groff, police said. After arraignment, Groff was taken to Bucks County Prison with bail set at 10 percent of $50,000, police said.
DUI — Christopher Transue, 26, of Sellersville, was charged with driving under the influence and traffic violations after being stopped May 28 on E. Park Avenue in Sellersville while operating a motorized vehicle that was not legal for use on the road, Perkasie Borough Police Department said. The charges were held for court following a July 2 preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage, New Britain, online court information shows.
DUI — Timir Webster, 29, of the 100 block of Abbey Lane, Telford, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license after being stopped at 2:26 a.m. June 8 for a traffic violation, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
DUI — Brian Hillard, 32, of the 100 block of E. Main Street, Silverdale, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped at 8:07 p.m. June 9 for speeding on Main Street in Silverdale, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
DUI — Abraham Gak, 38, of the 200 block of E. Paletown Road, Quakertown, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license after officers responded at 5:36 p.m. June 12 to a report of an erratic driver at Wawa in the 3500 block of Bethlehem Pike, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
RETAIL THEFT — Anna Bello, 48, of the 600 block of Fairhill Road, Hatfield, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after she was identified as the person who took more than $600 worth of merchandise from Giant Food Store on Route 113 about 12:07 p.m. June 18, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
DRUG OVERDOSE — Officers responded to the 400 block of E. Summit Street for the report of a drug overdose about 11:50 p.m. June 28, Hilltown Township Police Department said. The person was not breathing when officers arrived, police said. The officers used Narcan and the person began breathing and awoke, police said. The person refused further medical treatment or to be taken by ambulance to a hospital, police said. Suspected heroin was found at the scene, police said.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT — Six ambulances took eight people to Lehigh Valley Hospital and St. Luke's (Quakertown) Hospital following a two-vehicle accident about 1:35 p.m. June 30 at Route 113 and Minsi Trail, Hilltown Township Police Department said. The injuries ranged from minor to moderate, police said. Preliminary investigation indicated a driver headed north on Minsi Trail didn't stop for a stop sign and hit a vehicle headed east on Route 113, police said. Pennsylvania State Police, Bedminster Township Police, Dublin Borough Police, Dublin Fire Company, Grand View Health EMS, Point Pleasant-Plumsteadville EMS, Chal-Brit Regional EMS and Central Bucks EMS assisted at the scene, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
