RETAIL THEFT — Joseph A. Glossy, 57, of the unit block of Toxany Avenue, Glenside, was charged with retail theft after taking $271.15 in goods from Shop Rite, 2471 W. Cheltenham Ave., at noon Sept. 2, police said.

WARRANT — Ivan A. Litovka, 27, of the 200 block of Lockart Terrace, Philadelphia; and David Litovka, 28, of Ephrata, Pa., were taken into custody on outstanding warrants from Lancaster County and West Chester, respectively, at 2:04 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 8200 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.

RETAIL THEFT — Two females stole $75.78 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, at 2:49 p.m. Sept. 2, police said.

THREATS — Daniel Rajnath, 29, of the 2800 block of Carnation Avenue, Willow Grove, a former employee at Produce Junction, 265 S. Easton Road, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct, after he threatened employees at the store at 3:12 p.m. Sept. 2, police said. He is also no longer permitted at Produce Junction, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Mark Collins, 31, of the 5800 block of North Marshall Street, Philadelphia, was charged with propulsion of missiles onto the highway, simple assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, after he threw a brick at a female’s vehicle as she drove past Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, at 6:02 p.m. Sept. 2, police said.

RETAIL THEFT — Pauline Sinnott, 54, of the 400 block of Hermit Street, Philadelphia, was cited for retail theft after taking $83.89 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 2, police said.

FLIM FLAM — Three residents told police Sept. 2 that they ordered two kittens from a website called Diamond British Short Hair Kittens for $800, but have not received them, police said.

DRUG CHARGE — Micah Whiteside, 23, of the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue, Willow Grove, was charged with manufacture, delivery, possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a red-light violation following a vehicle stop at 10:32 p.m. Sept. 2 at Ogontz and Cheltenham avenues, where a heavy odor of marijuana was coming from the passenger area and several bags of suspected marijuana were found in the vehicle, police said.

THEFT — Items were reported stolen from a home in the 200 block of Brookdale Avenue at 8:37 a.m. Sept. 3, police said. Investigation is ongoing.

RETAIL THEFT — A male wearing a black shirt and gray shorts stole about $10 worth of detergent from Rite Aid, 1401 Cheltenham Ave., at 9:57 p.m. Sept. 3, police said.

WEAPONS CHARGES — Tyrek Edwards, 25, of the 8000 block of Temple Road, Philadelphia, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license, person not to possess a firearm, possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and a red-light violation, after he ran a red light at Cheltenham Avenue and Front Street and was stopped at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 4, police said. A gun was located in view under the driver’s seat and several pink vials were in plain sight, police said.

THEFT — A purse was reported stolen at 11:06 a.m. Sept. 4 from an unlocked vehicle at Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, police said.

RETAIL THEFT — A thin, black male, age 50-60, with a gray beard, wearing a black T-shirt and black pants, stole a cart with two trash bags full of unknown merchandise at Aldi, 8200 Ogontz Ave., at 6:57 p.m. Sept. 4, police said.

THEFT — A Samsung tablet, ear buds and change were reported stolen at 7:47 p.m. Sept. 4 from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Beech Avenue, police said.

ATTEPTED BURGLARY — A resident of the unit block of Twomey Court reported at 8:11 p.m. Sept. 4 that she saw a male trying to force open her patio door and he fled when she screamed, police said.

INDECENT SEXUAL ASSAULT — A male parked at the Shop Rite, 2471 W. Cheltenham Ave., was observed exposing himself at 11:03 a.m. Sept. 5 and then fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

RETAIL THEFT — Edmund Jones, 27, of the 5800 block of Woodcrest Avenue, Philadelphia, was cited for retail theft at 3:17 p.m. Sept. 5 after he was observed scanning some, but not all of the items in his possession at a self-checkout at Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, police said.

FRAUD — A resident of the unit block of Lanfair Road reported at 8:06 a.m. Sept. 6 that a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight and the victim’s credit cards were used, police said.

RETAIL THEFT — Valerie Ragsdale, 59, of the 1300 block of East Duval Street, Philadelphia, was cited for retail theft after taking $145.76 in goods from Shop Rite, 2471 Cheltenham Ave., at 2:21 p.m. Sept. 6, police said.

DISTURBANCE — Police responded at 10:14 p.m. Sept. 6 for a report of 20 juveniles fighting in the parking lot at Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, who fled and continued south on Limekiln, police said.

VANDALISM — The rear window of a vehicle parked at Lynnewood Gardens was smashed at 12:46 a.m. Sept. 7 by someone operating a gray SUV last seen north on Penrose Avenue, police said.

THEFT — A package was reported stolen at 3:42 p.m. Sept. 7 from the lobby of a building at the Towers at Wyncote, police said.

DRUG CHARGES — Stanley H. Dockery, 26, of the 1600 block of Andrews Avenue, Philadelphia, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license, after he was observed selling marijuana at 12:28 p.m. Sept. 8 at Cheltenham Avenue and Broad Street, police said.

DEFIANT TRESPASS — Isaiah Brewster, 18, of the 2300 block of North Camac Street, Philadelphia, was charged with defiant trespass and soliciting at 7:58 p.m. Sept. 8, after he was reportedly standing in front of Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, soliciting and acting aggressively toward customers and refused to leave, police said.

WARRANT — Larry Jackson, 32, of the unit block of North Felton Street, Philadelphia, was taken into custody by Philadelphia police and turned over to Cheltenham at 10:47 p.m. Sept. 8 on a warrant charging him with fraud and illegal use of credit cards stemming from an incident in 2014, police said.

THEFT — Bertram Chapman, 52, of the 6500 block of Limekiln Pike, Philadelphia, was charged with theft, after taking clothing from a business in the 600 block of York Road at 5:57 p.m. July 31, police said.

THEFT — Bernetta Norman, 47, of the 5200 block of North Hope Street, Philadelphia, was cited for theft of services at 2:14 p.m. Aug. 30, after failing to pay her bill at the IHOP restaurant on York Road, police said.
