PHILADELPHIA — A man was found shot to death last weekend in his Roxborough apartment, where authorities also discovered a large cache of cocaine, police said.
Eric Danyel Miller, 46, was found dead of a gunshot in his high-rise apartment in the 7900 block of Henry Avenue.
Residents of the complex said they heard gunshots ring out just before 8 p.m. Saturday. Medics transported Miller to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are going on the theory that the people who shot Miller also may have stolen a large cache of narcotics.
Police said they recovered 19 kilograms of cocaine from the apartment, as well as some found outside in the parking lot.
Authorities say they are looking for two men who left the parking lot in a dark Nissan Maxima.
Miller was one of 12 people shot - two fatally - in a violent weekend in the city.
