ELECTION 2016: Incumbent Pam DeLissio fends off challenger in Democratic Primary

State Rep. Pamela DeLissio, D-194, is running for her fourth term in Pennsylvania’s 194th District.

Incumbent Pamela DeLissio has earned herself a fifth term as the state representative for the 194th Legislative District

The Democrat received 22,213 votes from district residents, giving her 77.93 percent of the vote, according to unofficial votes on the Pennsylvania Department of State website Tuesday evening.

In a distant second was Republican challenger Sean Stevens with 5,554 votes, or 19.48 percent. Libertarian Matt Baltsar rounded out the field with 737 votes for 2.59 percent.

The 194th Legislative District covers the Lower Northwest Philadelphia neighborhoods of Roxborough, Manayunk, Wissahickon and East Falls and sections of Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County.
