They are adorable and playful, get along with kids and other pets. They need a committed adopter who will think ahead to their 10-to 15-year life span. ONLY apply if you are seriously committed.

Kittens are available for adoption, including "Maeve," a charcoal tabby with white paws and chest. She's part of three 7-week-old kittens recently rescued from a trash container. While the kittens are cute, a potential owner must be able to commit to them for their entire life. Also available for adoption are "Maura," a female tabbico/white markings, and "Finnegan," a male orange tabby.

The many patrons who frequent the “adult” (intelligent and thought-provoking, not X-rated) movies at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute have no doubt noticed the vacancy in the building right next to the movie theater at 818 Lancaster Ave. It was previously occupied by Verdad and for a long time before that by Marbles, owned by the Wakim brothers from Lebanon, who also run Al Dar Bistro in Bala Cynwyd and have had a restaurant presence on the Main Line for 35 years.

Until February of 2018, Michael Buono Jr., was the popular, classy manager/host at Teca in Newtown Square, carrying on a family tradition. His dad, also named Michael Buono, has popped this cork before. Until recently he was a peerless host/manager for more than 30 years at Vickers Tavern in Lionville, Chester County, located in a historic building that was a stop on the Underground Railroad in the mid-1800s. The elder Buono grew up on the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples, about 30 miles from the city of Naples, Italy.
