JENKINTOWN -- A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 27-year-old man earlier this month in a residential neighborhood several blocks off of Route 611 in Jenkintown, according to the Jenkintown Police Department.

Michael Sean Peele, 27, of the 500 block of Levick Street, Philadelphia, received citations for stop sign and seat belt violations on Sept. 9 at the intersection of Vernon Road and West Avenue, according to police.

Additionally, the Philadelphia Police Department had an “active warrant” for Peele’s arrest, police said.

The circumstances surrounding the warrant were not available.
