Abington 

ETHNIC INTIMIDATION -- Joseph Massino, 56, of Mt. Carmel Avenue, Ardsley, was charged Oct. 25 with ethnic intimidation, terroristic threats and harassment at the 2800 block of Mt. Carmel Avenue in Glenside.

THEFT -- Trevor Voltolino, 22, of Dickenson Street, Philadelphia, was charged Oct. 28 with theft by deception, bad checks and possessing an instrument of crime at the 1400 block of Old York Road in Abington.

RETAIL THEFT -- Juan Salinas, 31, of Rorer Street, Philadelphia, was charged Oct. 27 with retail theft at the 2300 block of Susquehanna Road in Abington.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS -- Howard McConnell, 69, of Jacksonville Road, Hatboro, was charged on Oct. 25 with theft by unlawful taking and public drunkenness at the 2500 block of Moreland Road in Willow Grove.

Jenkintown 

FIGHT -- Jenkintown police officers responded to reports of a fight involving several individuals around 8:20 p.m. on Nov. 7 at the 400 block of Leedom Street in Jenkintown.One person allegedly had a knife and a bat, while another male suspect “got into a maroon SUV and fled the area prior to police arrival,” according to a police report. Two other suspects and a parent were found to be “uncooperative with police” while being interviewed. No one was injured.

JUMPING 0N VEHICLES -- Police responded to reports of a man “jumping on vehicles and attempting to gain entry into an occupied parked vehicle” around 9:42 a.m. on Nov. 6 at the intersection of West Avenue and York in Jenkintown. Officers witnessed the man, who was not wearing a shirt, “yelling and jumping onto parked cars,” according to a police report. After being “restrained by police,” he was taken to Abington Hospital’s Crisis Intervention Unit before heading to the Montgomery County Emergency Services Department.
