WIRE FRAUD — On Jan. 24, a female resident reported getting a phone call from an unknown person who said there was a warrant for her arrest, Bedminster Township Police Department said. The caller agreed to help clear the warrant if the female sent an unspecified amount of money in gift cards, police said. The female refused and the caller said two federal agents would arrest her at her home, police said.

DUI — A male was stopped for driving under the influence charges Jan. 25 on Dublin Pike near Bedminster Road after the driver failed to stay in his lane of travel, Bedminster Township Police Department said.

WIRE FRAUD — On Jan. 24, a female resident received a phone call from an unknown person claiming to be working for Microsoft Tech Support and saying the female's computer virus software protection needed to be renewed, Bedminster Township Police Department said. The victim and the police were able to determine through inconsistencies in the caller's statements that the call was fraudulent, police said.

INTOXICATED PERSON — Officers investigated an intoxicated person inside the Tractor Supply store on Easton Road after a customer called to report the intoxicated person Jan. 25, Bedminster Township Police Department said.
