ROXBOROUGH — On Friday, May 31, 2019 the Academies at Roxborough High School held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2019.

This year's class included 153 students. Of that number 132 seniors applied to 573 colleges and universities including West Chester University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and Community College of Philadelphia.

Jardai Sharper and Iyinoluwa Afolayan Ogunyinka received the first of two full-tuition scholarships to attend High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. The scholarships were established by Netflix Co-founder Marc Randolph, who serves as High Point University’s Entrepreneur in Residence.

While noting and applauding this outgoing Class of 2019, The Academies at Roxborough High School are expecting an incoming class more than 300 freshmen in September.
