The teenager struck by a car while riding his bicycle near his home on Township Line Road in Limerick died Monday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brian “Deuce” Clarke died Monday after being struck by a car around 10 p.m. July 11.

Clarke had no brain activity and was not expected to live through Saturday, his father, also Brian, told our sister publication, the Mercury, last Friday.

Friends and family used the #BC44 hash tag, which combined Clarke’s initials and football jersey number, on Twitter in the days following the accident to weigh in, talking about Clarke as a teammate and as a classmate that “always had a smile on his face.”

Clarke was an organ donor, his father said.

In addition to his father, Clarke is survived by his mother, Kathleen, and his 12-year-old brother, Aidan.
