Warrant … Andre Thomas, 49, of the 5500 block of Malcolm Street, Philadelphia, was taken into custody May 19 on an outstanding Philadelphia warrant, police said.

Retail theft … A 15-year-old Philadelphia girl was cited for retail theft May 19 after taking $98.98 in goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, around 4 p.m., police said.

Retail theft … A black male in his 40s or 50s, wearing a white dress shirt, jeans and black wire-framed glasses, stole two full bags of items from Pathmark, 1000 S. Easton Road at 9:27 a.m. May 20, police said.

Assault … Akhiym Mickens, 27, of the 200 block of West Hainsberry Street, Philadelphia, was charged with simple assault, theft, criminal mischief, receiving stolen property and harassment May 20 following a domestic incident at 11:53 a.m. at a residence in the 7600 block of Massey Way, police said. Mickens allegedly attacked his girlfriend and attempted to run her over with a vehicle after taking her purse containing a large amount of cash, police said. Mickens was previously charged with vandalizing the woman’s vehicle, police said.

Retail theft … Melvin T. Herder, 57, of the 5700 block of Mitchell Road, Levittown, was cited for retail theft at 3:22 p.m. May 20 after taking $119.97 worth of shoes from Burlington Coat Factory, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

Theft … A girl playing at the playground at the LaMott Community Center in Elkins Park reported at 8:58 p.m. May 20 that her cellphone was stolen while there, police said.

Warrant … Matthew Montagna, 26, of the 300 block of Ryers Avenue, turned himself in at 10 a.m. May 21 on an outstanding warrant from Cheltenham for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, police said. He was arraigned and released on $1,000 unsecured bail, police said.

Fraud … Shakira Waggoner, 22, of the 700 block of 66th Avenue, Philadelphia, was charged with access device fraud May 21 after she attempted to deposit a counterfeit check at 10:41 a.m. at TD Bank, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

Retail theft … Benjamin Crooks, 54, of the 6300 block of North Lambert Street, Philadelphia, was cited for retail theft at 2:47 p.m. May 21 after taking $64.50 in goods from Walmart, 1000 S. Easton Road, police said.

Fraud … A resident reported May 21 that a debit card that was lost was used in Philadelphia for unauthorized withdrawal from the victim’s account, police said.

Warrant … Christine Nagel, 45, of the 700 block of Worthington Drive, Warminster, was taken into custody at Limekiln Pike and Cheltenham Avenue at 7:42 p.m. May 21 after attempting to steal a TV from Walmart, 1000 S. Easton Road, police said. She had a warrant from Abington Township against her for retail theft and was turned over to Abington, police said.

Criminal mischief … Christian Shoemake, 20, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was charged with criminal mischief, receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person and theft from a motor vehicle after he allegedly vandalized a vehicle parked at Arcadia University, 450 S. Easton Road, around 10 a.m. May 22, police said.

Retail theft … Sharina Patterson, 28, of the 1600 block of East Lycoming Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft at 11 a.m. May 22 after a security officer watched her ring items and then void several transactions at Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, where she was employed, police said.

Burglary … A resident of Elkins Park House, 7900 Old York Road, reported May 22 that gold rings were missing from the unit, police said.

Warrant … Bryan Finley, 45, of the 2400 block of 79th Avenue, Philadelphia, was taken into custody at 11:32 a.m. May 23 following a car stop at Cheltenham and 79th avenues, police said. Finley was wanted on a Philadelphia warrant, police said.

Attempted burglary … An attempted burglary was reported at 12:23 p.m. May 23 at a home in the unit block of Beryl Road, where a caretaker found several windows tampered with, police said.

Theft … An HP Elite book 8440P laptop computer was reported stolen at 3:40 p.m. May 23 from an office at Einstein Medical Center, 60 E. Township Line Road, police said.

Theft … A gold tennis bracelet, valued at $2,500, was reported stolen May 23 from a residence in the 2100 block of Mather Way, police said. The item was taken between Feb. 1 and May 10, police said.

Criminal trespass … Donta Stroman, 26, of the 2600 block of Levick Street, Philadelphia, was charged with simple assault, unlawful restraint, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking May 24 following a domestic incident reported at 2:22 a.m. at a residence in the 2000 block of Cheltenham Avenue, police said. Stroman kicked in the entry door and apartment door of an ex-girlfriend, then allegedly grabbed her and proceeded to curse at her and push her around, police said.

Fire call … The Cheltenham Fire Company responded to a call of a fire at 10:38 a.m. May 24 at DaVita Dialysis, 1000 S. Easton Road, where smoke was found in the building from an electrical problem and then cleared, police said.

Retail theft … An 11-year-old Philadelphia boy is being petitioned to Juvenile Court on a charge of retail theft after taking $165.40 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, around noon May 24, police said.

Assault … Wyatt McCastle, 29, of the 7400 block of Barclay Circle, was charged with simple assault and harassment after police were called at 6 p.m. May 24 to his home, where he allegedly assaulted his wife, police said.

Gunshots … Residents of the 2100 block of Mather Way reported hearing gunshots at 3 a.m. May 25, but a check of the area was negative, police said.

Public drunkenness … Eamonn Cleary, 20, of the 300 block of West Waverly Road, Glenside, was cited for public drunkenness at 2:01 a.m. May 25 after being found walking on the road at Glenside and Keswick avenues while intoxicated, police said.

Retail theft … Annette D. Labell-Somerville, 55, of the 7900 block of Pickering Street, Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft at 5:22 p.m. May 25 after taking $172.89 in goods from Burlington Coat Factory, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

Theft … A wallet was reported stolen from a shopper at Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, at 8:37 p.m. May 25, and was later found missing a credit card, police said.
